here are several things in life that I am very passionate about and Jesus Christ leads the pack, closely followed by my family, playing music, and the culinary arts.

My passion for fine looking, flavorful meals started when I was young. I have a silly memory of my mother serving me a corn dog drizzled with mustard and ketchup and garnished with a sprig of parsley. I learned the impact and importance of proper preparation and presentation with all varieties of food.

I attended college in Nashville, Tennessee where my excitement and love for music grew. While enjoying the great music and food in Nashville, I attained a degree in Business Entrepreneurship. One of the major projects was creating my own business. Since then I have continued to dream of having a restaurant of my own.

Upon arriving back to my hometown of Richardson, Texas, I was employed as a chef with Culinaire International for three years.

My career expanded into executive management with the Hilton Corporation for the past eight years.

After much thought and prayer with my wife Mariana, and my parents Kelly and Becky Newsom, the decision was made to open a scratch kitchen hometown eatery.
